When you lift weights you are increasing blood flow. Anytime you get blood flow going you are keeping your brain in the best shape for grinding at your goals.
- You don’t go to the gym to get ripped, get fit, lose weight, or get girls–you go to KILL mediocrity. Being average is what got you where you are in the first place.
Everything that follows is a result of this mindset. You’ll get more ripped, more girls, more attention, more looks, as a result. Pick a machine and lift until you are red in the face.
Don’t keep track of numbers
Keep going until there are no numbers floating around in your head. No “I’ve gotta do 3 sets of 5 reps.” When you lift this way, those numbers don’t exist.
- When someone asks you, “How many sets do you have left?” You say, “I’m going until I kill myself.” You’re going until you kill what it means to be average.
This will come in handy for later. When you shatter and go past the numbers, you will physically and mentally know what it feels like to go past your limits.
Channel the mindset at the gym into your business
The great thing about this, is you can be the skinniest guy or girl at the gym but you will have the mindset of a monster. Doing this daily over months, you’re body will begin to reflect your mind and all things will fall into place.
From doing this exercise alone, you will generate ideas about how to channel your energy into getting what you want out of life.
- The gym is a training ground for your mind as much as it is for your body. Ideas from a well taken care of body and mind are essential to always coming up with something new.
When you go past your limits your ideas will start becoming more unconventional and you will be more productive.
