When I eat a full meal in the morning I feel bloated and I get carb-face. I feel fat and look fat. Also, it takes a lot of energy to digest food, which is why you feel lethargic after eating a big meal.
For this reason, I don’t eat breakfast in the morning. At most, I’ll have a snack bar, and some Taylors Black Tea— my favorite black tea that I drink everyday. Nothing big.
Black tea has a lot of benefits and you should start drinking it. In addition, it’s my favorite way to relax and just think. My favorite way to turn people down when they want to hang out is, “Nah, I’m just gonna drink black tea and chill.”
At any rate, In the afternoon, I will eat a normal meal. What I have found is that when I don’t eat in the morning I have way more energy to get things done.
To counteract the effect of eating lunch and feeling lethargic, what I do is eat lunch, then go to the gym. This helps me not feel too lazy after eating.
Not eating in the morning has another benefit, it keeps you looking fit and lean. I know there a countless studies saying you should eat breakfast or it doesn’t matter. One thing I know for sure, is that it takes your body a lot of energy to digest food. This energy could be used for your business.
