Gary Bencivenga made a lot of money creating ad campaigns. He’s one of the top dogs when it comes to crafting words.
When I come down on hard times or I come across a problem that needs to be solved, I use his trick to figure out what it is I need to do.
What Gary does, is every night before he goes to sleep he asks himself this: “Ok brain we’ve got a problem and I want you to figure it out by tomorrow.”
That’s it. He asks himself a question and has his brain work on it while he sleeps.
I tried it out and the results were the real deal, but you have to be paying attention to the answer.
That’s because the answer might not come in the way you hoped. It might come to you on your drive to work, or it might come to you when you get frustrated at some random stranger. The answer will also come to you when you least expect it.
The answer might also be right under your nose. The simple act of asking your brain to figure it out is sometimes all you need to realize what you already have and need to do.
Maybe the answer won’t come and you will get frustrated that you tried this and it didn’t work. That’s probably when the answer will come.
For this to work, you have to be super observant of all the strange coincidences, and out of place things that will happen during your normal routine.
Pay attention and the answer will reveal itself.
