Often times you’ll ask yourself a deep question. You throw that question at the universe and expect the answer to come back right away. But the universe doesn’t work that way.
Often times you’ll get an answer but you won’t know it. It’s not always obvious and only when you reflect — you realize the answer was staring you right in the face. It was so obvious but you missed it.
What I’ve learned is the answer will come in many forms. Maybe its a new person you meet. Maybe it’s a book you read. Maybe its an old journal you kept but forgot about.
Maybe its a passing comment made by a stranger on your way to work. The universe is sneaky like that. But you have to be paying attention.
Another thing to realize is your question will sometimes get answered right away and other times it will come to you years later.
Those are the type of answers that are the real golden nuggets of wisdom. The kind simmers in your brain for a while and then comes to the surface.
You have to think deeply and want an answer. You have to be willing to ask in the first place.
If you have any roadblocks in your mind, then the answer will always escape you.
You can ask all day and all night for years and years, but if your mind isn’t right you won’t receive the answer. Think deeply about your insecurities, weaknesses, and strengths. If they’re a problem you won’t be receptive to the answer the universe gives.
